Fertility

ORIGIO has an extensive product portfolio of media for In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) applications. The company is at the forefront of new techniques and protocols, the corresponding development of media and the transfer of know-how. We want to make fertility treatment safer, more efficient and convenient for couples attending clinics.

Stem cells

Stem cell research is an area with a clear need for serum-free media in both the research and the process. The cells are very sensitive to external stimuli such as growth factors in serum and unless a certain stability is provided, the control and validation of growth and differentiation processes becomes very difficult.

ORIGIO has pioneered the area of serum-free media on the basis of its patented SSR technology platform. Furthermore, through its IVF activities, ORIGIO has contact with a number of the researchers involved in stem cell research. Its early days for stem cell research but ORIGIO has the competence required to be a leading supplier of media within the area and later on, be a media partner in the commercialization of its techniques.
